ChemoChic is a monthly, interactive class offered by the Georgia Cancer Foundation for women undergoing chemotherapy. Developed by three female survivors, ChemoChic provides women with practical information, empowering them to face the challenges created by cancer and chemotherapy. Women attend ChemoChic only once but leave with a renewed sense of well being and the confidence to live their lives to the fullest.
Women receiving chemotherapy for all types of cancer are invited to attend ChemoChic and may bring a female companion with them. This is a free class, but reservations are required. Volunteers and professionals (nutritionists, yoga instructors, and oncology social workers and nurses) teach women how to enrich their minds, bodies, and spirits.
