Georgia Cancer Foundation and Rudi Caruthers Gain Major Media Attention

New ChemoChic Coordinator Appears in Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Atlanta Business Chronicle

New ChemoChic Coordinator Rudi Caruthers appeared in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution (AJC) and the Atlanta Business Chronicle during the month of June.

Rudi recently accepted the position to coordinate the Georgia Cancer Foundation (GCF) program, which helps women feel better emotionally and physically while undergoing chemotherapy treatments.

“We are thrilled that Rudi is garnering so much attention for the program,” said Brenda Horne, Executive Director of GCF. “We know she will do a phenomenal job of leading ChemoChic.”

She appeared in the June 16-22 issue of the Atlanta Business Chronicle in the “People in the News” section of the publication, and also in the Cobb Metro section of the AJC on June 15, in a feature story written by AJC staff writer Tucker McQueen.

ChemoChic empowers women to combat the side effects of chemotherapy, which robs them of confidence and self-esteem. Professionals and volunteer survivors teach participants how to enrich their minds, bodies, and spirits. For more information on the program, call 770-640-5529 ext 10.
