Medical Association of Georgia Recognizes Foundation as Vital Educational Facilitator
Georgia Cancer Foundation (GCF) recently received its Continuing Medical Education (CME) re-accreditation from the Medical Association of Georgia. The re-accreditation will allow the foundation to continue its work as an important educational facilitator of physicians across the state for another four years.
“Our CME programs are an important part of our work,” said Brenda Horne, Executive Director of GCF. “We are thrilled to have received this re-accreditation that will allow us to continue to offer these programs throughout Georgia.”
CME activities are offered to physicians throughout the year in order to maintain and further develop their medical education. Every physician is required to fulfill a minimum number of CME credits per year to continue practicing medicine.
GCF offers many CME activities to physicians each year, including the San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium Update and the Post American Society of Hematology (ASH) Review Conference.
